On Tuesday Dec. 6th, WordPress released their latest version named “Vaughan” in honor of legendary jazz vocalist Sarah “Sassy” Vaughan, is available for download or update in your WordPress dashboard. It is the last Core releases, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 and finally 4.7. for 2016 with over 100 contributors. WordPress has grown tremendously from 13% to 27% in the last five years. That’s an enormous jump in growth in any field/industry but specially so in the tech world.
Also released a new default theme named twenty seventeen. It focus on business sites, with customized front page and multiple sections, it allows you to personalize it with many features that include logo, video headers, widgets, custom colors, navigation and much more. Totally responsive, it works well on any device, many languages and a wide range of users. Vaughan’s release has been received very well by the WordPress community, in one day more than 3,700 downloads were marked.
